The gems of this hotel are the beautiful on-site chapels with the presence of the Lord, the excellent staff and the amazing garden and grounds!! To be able to attend Mass at the hotel (7.20 a.m. on weekdays and 9.00 a.m. on Sundays) was such a bonus. The junior suite we had was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Exactly as shown in the photos. Everything in the room worked well. Maybe next time we’ll ask for the junior suite without the glass separation between the bathroom and the room as the person sleeping on the side of the bed nearest this separation is disturbed every time the bathroom light is turned on. The blinds don’t shield the light completely. Either that or bring a pair of eye shades! :) Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. There were cold cuts, cereals, different types of bread, homemade jams, pastries, yoghurts, nuts, bacon, scrambled eggs and a variety of cut fruits. Besides the usual hot drinks and juices, there were also packets of almond and soya milk. Breakfast was either a buffet or pre-ordered the night before, depending on the number of guests at the hotel. Overall, we loved our stay here very much. Many thanks to all the staff. Your personal touch made our stay all that more memorable! Apart from the usual hand disinfectants available throughout the hotel, I would like to highlight some other extra hygiene measures taken during our check-in and at breakfast. Guests are required to spray their luggage at the entrance to the lobby. The pen given to me to sign a form was disinfected and so was my card. Very good! During the buffet breakfast, it was always the staff serving us and always using a new plate. No re-using of plates. I felt very reassured that there was no cross-contamination. Well done! Highly recommended and will stay again - definitely! :)

This hotel was exceptional and great value for money. With modern facilities with lovely design in a refurbished seminar, the rooms were lovely. Traveling as 3 friends, the triple room was very convenient for our needs, with three single very comfortable beds in a modern room with lovely design. All the staff were lovely and helpful in giving assistance. The breakfast was exceptional and all Covid precautions were exceptional. It is also very conveniently located if you want to visit the Sanctuary or even on a trip up north, if you are looking for a spot to rest close to the A1 highway. Thank you to all the friendly staff at reception and also breakfast, namely D. Maria João - friendly and warm people with a warm welcome gave us a stay to remember!

The staff was friendly and efficient, which made us feel welcome and relaxed from the moment we entered the hotel. The check-in and check-out process was easy and quick. The room was good looking, spacious and clean, with lots of light once we opened the blackout curtains. I would recommend staying here.

Breakfast was five stars!!!!!! Absolutely delicious and very well served! There were also options for who is lactose intolerante, which we don't always see. And the coffee: magnificent! :D :D
